It’s a dog eat dog world out there and when you work in the entertainment industry (heck, when you live in AFRICA) you have to do what you can to survive
Some people call it 'gold-digging' I call it making the most of your circumstances. I personally don’t judge anybody on this list, but some people in Mzansi haven’t haven’t been so modest with their words.
Here are a few celebs who have been accused of dating for money.

Nonhle Ndala

Andile Jali’s family made headlines when they described Nonhle as a 'gold-digger'. This hasn’t phased the lovebirds though and they are still going strong.

Lexi Van
Lexi has been dating Mandla since the two of them were in the Big Brother house. However, after Mandla won the R1 million grand prize, Lexi was accused of only sticking around because of the money.

Khanyi Mbau

Khanyi admits that she made some mistakes in her youth, but one thing she denies is ever being a gold digger. That hasn’t stopped people from throwing the label around.

Amanda Cele
The country’s most famous blessee became famous when she appeared on e.TV’s Checkpoint. Since then, she’s tried her best to work her way into local celebrity/rich circles.

Pulane

Pulane Lenkoe has a penchant for footballers but unfortunately some people believe it has more to do with the kind of money that they are able to pull.
